If we had to choose one tire for an entire season of cyclocross, it’d be the Terreno Mix Endurance. It’s engineered for all conditions, all terrain, and all types of riding – the Terreno Mix is the most versatile tire in our cyclocross series.

The tire’s mix of tread types supports speed on the straights and biting security while off camber or slogging through mud, but it doesn’t muddy the connection between you and whatever surfaces the course has in store. When conditions do turn sloppy or soft, the tire’s spacious tread shrugs off mud and clingy, loamy soil.

Technology explained

The Terreno Mix’s Graphene-infused compound is more durable, faster, and lighter than rubber alone, and it’s reinforced with a durable, supple Endurance nylon casing with additional layers of puncture protection on the center strip and side walls. The fast-rolling center knobs actively clear debris and muck, and the shoulders bite while cornering or off camber.

Sidewall leaking air

I’ve ridden these tires a while and this is the first time I have had this happen

Handler some serious undervisning just fine

Did a gravel race on roads I knew to usually be smooth, so I decided to take the road bike and fit these tires on it. Turned out about 15 miles of the race was above the snow line, so I raced through slush mud. They performed admirably!

The Vittoria web site does not mention that this tire is for hooked rims only. This information is only stated on the tire wall. Therefore, only once the order is received and the tire packaging is opened does one see that the tire is incompatible with hookless rims. Such information should be stated prior to purchasing to avoid the hassle of having to wait for shipment and returning it.
