Competition Latex inner tube

I bought 700 x 19/23C tubes even though Vittoria tire was 24C. Glad they stretched. I've never used latex tubes before. These were very high quality and performed well. I was surprised to find that they lose pressure faster than my old butyl rubber tubes. Never while riding. Only over night. GS

I think I can actually feel the difference from butyle tubes. No punctures in 18 months so far with my first set.

First ride was great. Second ride the tire started leaking and couldn't be pumped up. Removed tube and the black rubber seal between valve stem and latex tube is lifting off the tube.

They do enhance road feel. But it is inconvenient pumping them up every ride.
