Credit cards
To ensure maximum security, your credit card details are encrypted using the SSL protocol before being transmitted. When you place an order, we reserve the purchase amount on your credit card. The sum is not deducted until the goods are dispatched.
We use 3-D Secure to reduce the risk of fraud for credit card payments. 3-D Secure is a process used to ensure additional safety for online credit card transactions. It was developed by VISA and is used for the Verified by Visa service and Mastercard SecureCode. When 3-D Secure is used for your order, a connection to the card issuer is created and you are then asked to confirm your identity by means of a password or by authentication on a smartphone. If the authentication is successful, the credit card payment will be processed.
PayPal
If you select PayPal as the payment method, you will be asked to log in to your PayPal account and confirm the payment. The purchase amount is reserved when you place the order. The sum will only be debited from your PayPal account when the goods are dispatched.
ShopPAY
If you select ShopPayas the payment method, you will be asked to log in to your ShopPay account and confirm the payment. The purchase amount is reserved when you place the order. The sum will only be debited from your account when the goods are dispatched.
Google Pay
Google Pay is a digital payment service that allows users to make secure payments both online and in physical stores using their smartphone, smartwatch, or other compatible devices. Here's how it works:
- Setup: First, you download the Google Pay app and add your credit or debit card by either scanning it or entering the details manually. Google Pay securely stores your card information using encryption.
- Making Payments in Stores: To pay in a physical store, you unlock your phone and simply hold it near a contactless payment terminal (those with the NFC symbol). Google Pay uses Near Field Communication (NFC) to transmit payment information between your device and the terminal. You don’t need to open the app—just unlock your device and tap. No need to share your card details with the merchant.
- Online and In-App Payments: Google Pay can also be used for purchases in apps or on websites that support the service. When you're ready to check out, you select Google Pay as your payment option. It quickly completes the transaction using the card you’ve stored, making it faster and more secure than entering your card details manually each time.
- Security: Google Pay doesn't share your actual card numbers with merchants. Instead, it uses a virtual account number (tokenization) to process transactions, ensuring your details are kept safe. Plus, every transaction needs your phone to be unlocked, adding another layer of security.
- Rewards and Tracking: The app also helps you track your spending, view your transaction history, and often lets you access loyalty cards, offers, and rewards.
Overall, Google Pay makes digital payments simple, fast, and secure.
