Fast rolling, aggressive cornering, and a lightweight construction – the Mezcal XC is the tubeless-ready tire for speed and smiles while exploring XC singletrack that mixes hardpack, roots, and rocks. The continuous center line features offset extensions that are siped to multiply the number of edges propelling you up the trail, and the rear siping on the shoulder knobs is angled for fast cornering on hard, slippery surfaces. For climbing, cornering, or careening down hill, no tire rides like the Mezcal.

Exactly what I wanted, haven't had a chance to try them out yet but I did a lot of research and found these to be a good tire for my needs!

A little disappointed

Was hoping these would give me more traction then stock tires on my specialized stump jumper. Front tire slid out 2 out of 3 rides

If I felt like giving one I would. You reminding me every 4 days does not inspire me to write but be snarky- as you can see.

Great XC tire combination!

Got the Mezcal/Barzo bundle for my Salsa El Mariachi, and I think this is the best XC combination I've ever used. Durable, grippy, and lightweight. Actually, dumped my heavy tubeless Schwalbe setup, and went back to lightweight tubes. Super happy with the purchase!
