Got the Mezcal/Barzo bundle for my Salsa El Mariachi, and I think this is the best XC combination I've ever used. Durable, grippy, and lightweight. Actually, dumped my heavy tubeless Schwalbe setup, and went back to lightweight tubes. Super happy with the purchase!
Great tire w grip for XC racing. Used as a rear tire for muddy conditions at Xterra World Championships with no loss of traction on muddy slippery roots
Barzo XC
Perfect tire combo for XC! I went with the 2.35 for a little chunkier stuff to ride!
Although the Barzo is a seemingly naroow 2.35 tire, it has afforded me great roll speed over varied terrain and grip in cornering most often on dry singletrack. Great front tire complimenting my rear Mezcal
