The all-new Vittoria Corsa Next tyre has been billed as ‘a tyre for the everyday rider’ with a core focus on bringing durability and performance to a broader demographic.

Road.cc

Customers praised these tubeless-ready road tires for excellent grip, comfort, and performance across varied terrain. Many noted "fast rolling" and "puncture protection." However, some experienced durability issues with premature wear (1500-2500 miles) and center tread separation. Installation difficulty varied by rim, with some finding it "easy" while others struggled significantly.

  • The ride is always plush, grippy and pleasant. Simply the best bicycle tires on the market.
  • Easy to install, fast rolling, and good puncture protection.
  • They perform well across a variety of terrain from pavement, to gravel roads, to wet surfaces.

Outstanding ride & easy installation

I've ridden a variety of bicycle tire brands over the years and have yet to find a brand better than Vittoria. The ride is always plush, grippy and pleasant. Never an issue with installation, Vittoria tires always go on the the rims with ease. Never an issue with inflation, especially when using a tubeless road setup. For me, Vittoria tires are Simply the best bicycle tires on the market.

High Expectations Met!

I have been a Vittoria rider in the past, but moved to another brand for a few years. I just recently came back to Vittoria and decided to try the 28mm N.EXT as it fits nicely as a fast training and club racing tire.
My first ride with them on new wheels was in the rain and they handled and felt amazing and predictable. The next day was in in perfect conditions and again, the road feel and predictability in corning and road feel is what I have missed from Vittoria.

Will not buy again

I bought a set of these to put on a brand new bike I built. I put 1650 miles on them and they are completely worn out. I contacted Vittoria about it and they said I should expect 1500-2000 miles out of them. Switching back to Conti's.

Nice ride

These tires are great. They make me feel confident on corners and very responsive on the tarmac.

Nice tires

I like the performance of the tire. Not too hard to install. A little surprised the old versionn I had in my bike was cracking and large pieces of rubber had fallen off. I hope the new tire doesn’t wear out prematurely like the older one did.

Favorite All Around Tire

Love these tires for their versatility and durability. They perform well across a variety of terrain from pavement, to a mixture of Montana gravel roads, to wet surfaces. Well worth the cost for a solid all around tire.

Unless I need the speed of a corsa pro I have these on my wheels. Fast and puncture resistant when paired with Fast Cholo Sealant www.fastcholosealant.com

After 100 miles

Wow these are tough to install. Running tubes on a HED wheel set and these were the toughest to install. I wish they came in a 25. I’m running this on a cannondale six13. Limited on tire width due to clearance.

Using Vittoria 24mm tubeless since Fall 2023

Been using this brand of tubeless tires for my tri-bike for 2 years now and it's great for my bike. No issues with frame rubbing or i am able to perform well too since my bike is a 2017 model and cannot handle wider tires.

Just the tire I was looking for

Very happy with the Corsa N.Ext! Feels great on the flats and rougher roads and still grips fantastic through the corners. It measures 30mm exactly on my 21mm internal width wheels. A great tire for fast training and ripping Tuesday “worlds”!

Ready to Roll

Very soft and vibration dampening tire. Handle corners like BMW’s.

N.Ext tire survey

Since I have a 2006 compact road bike with tight rear tire clearance it’s hard to find 23c tires so the only tire that I can find and use are the Vittoria N.Ext 24c model. A few of these tires that I’ve ordered in the past wore poorly down the center and the tread started to separate in spots. I do use the terreno mix and wet tires for Cx and have no issues. I’m a big fan of Vittoria tires and will keep using them. I wish you had made the Rubinos in a 24c tubeless. So as of now I’m running a 24c N.Ext in the rear and a 25c Rubino on the front. I like the rubinos . I have good front end clearance for a bigger tire it’s just the rear that’s tight.

N.EXT Tires

I enjoy these tires. I use the tubeless version. They strike a great balance between durability and performance. They are fast and I never had a flat.

Corsa NXT Tubeless

These are my favorite tires for road or gravel. They are very supple and have good ride quality. They were also surprisingly easy to mount and inflate. Will buy again

Corsa N.Ext Tubeless-ready

The Corsa N.Ext tires are a good balance between performance and durability. I have no issues installing them on a set of Reserve 32/34 wheelset using Muc-Off valve stems w/removable core.

On occasion I have to spray down the outside of the tire with soap water to get that last portion of the tire to seat.

While I’m sure there are more durable tires on the market the ride feel is the most important factor for me in choosing a tire. Unfortunately costs is the second factor. I find this tire choice fits my criteria.

I ride about 6k-8k a year and rarely get a flat.

When a flat occurs I’ve been using Dyna plugs and the plug/tire combination seem to work.

There’s a lot of construction (house building) on many of my group ride routes and after several nail punctures and plug repairs I decided to replace the tire and upgrade to 30mm.

Like with many things….this review is worth what you paid for it.

Tight!

Received the tires, opened the package and let the tires hang for a couple days. Mounted the tires to my rims, 25mm inner width-hookless, and used 80 plus psi to get the beads to “pop” up to the bead seat. More pressure than I am accustomed to but once there they sealed well. Have added sealant and are holding pressure well. Advertised width on rim. Not yet ridden, snowing this morning! Concerned if I ever need to service roadside. Will need to carry my more robust tire levers.

Long lasting

I usually can start a race season on a new pair of tires and run the full race season and continue to train the rest of the off season. Excellent in the turns and quick acceleration during sprints.

Early Review

I have installed this tire on tubeless i23 rims, and the install itself was alright. A bit tough to get the tires on at first but not unexpected. The tire rides smooth and feels fast on the road although I have not ridden for too long.

First road tire for me!

Used these for the first time to ride in Wish a Mile Michigan where we rode the full 300 mile cours on pavement and macadam and added in riding to and from the event for another 100 miles of pavement and about 100 of gravel. These tires performed flawlessly in all dry surface and even held a almost missed turn at 40 mph on a corner. I used the on wet surface as well and they worked equally well. These are the perfect tire for me who primarily rides hard packed gravel but need to loops pavement in to get the loops in.

Favorite tire so far

I got the tires in 30mm width, and they are very comfy and very grippy, even on very narrow rims, 16mm internal width. I have done road races, criteriums, and training rides on the tires, and they have handled them all well. I have ridden the Corsa (non-pro) controls in 25mm, and Continental GP5000s in 28mm, and I prefer the N.ext to both. The Corsa was very grippy and very good on treadwear, but not super comfortable. GP5000 is also not very comfortable, and has awful tread life due to a very soft contact patch. These tires are comfy and fast, and have acceptable tread life, though I have seen heavier riders wear them out in 1000 miles. That is one of only two real complaints I have. The second is that depending on the rim, the tire doesn’t always bead well when using a tube instead of tubeless. I have an older bike with older, mismatched wheels. The rear, a Roval Rapide, beaded fine with a tube, but the front, a Rolf Prima Vigor wheel, would not bead properly. I had to set the rim up tubeless, which works fine with the tire, but is not recommended on the rim, and means it loses air faster than a proper tubeless wheel and tire setup. This is my only big issue with the tires, and the reason they don’t receive 5 stars.

Not so great a tire

I purchased these tires in November 2022. Now in June 2024 after 1500 miles of riding they are splitting down the middle. I believe you should get more miles on a tire than that. I did not ride for 8 months in that timeframe due to injury. I will not purchase again.

Great tire

Easy to mount on my winspace Luns or winspace roulettes tubeless or with tubes. Last a long time and can ride almost any terrain from road to slippery descents. Raced and trained on them. Love these.
