Air-Liner Tool Kit

This tool replaced the big pair of channel lock pliers I was using to break the bead on my Reserve wheelset. When it comes to carbon fiber I would rather not run the risk of scratching them with a metal tool. That is why I choose this tool. Nice heavy duty plastic

Tool work fine. I was taking off a Vit zero 47mm tire with liner insert installed. The tire was worn and tired but so are my hands, so the tool was instrumental in pushing tire bead off upper rim shelf with the insert firmly pushing back the whole entire time. That worked out great, but then I moved on to my Terreno Dry 2.25mm and a bit harder to work tool handles around the larger casing. It’s like in the jowls of clamp (the other side of the pivot point from the handles) wasn’t large enough. It needs the very round / circular shape to go around casing and back to the bead with the elongated push point. If making improvements, make this push point curved to match wheel, possibly a bit longer too. Study the ‘Channel Lock’ brand of pliers. Adjustable, long handles, gripping teeth that don’t need to crush the item you are trying to turn. They grip with power, allow good leverage to turn with handle length, yet don’t crush the nut or stuck lid on old linseed oil can,
You should make multiple tools for different sized tires.. 2” seems to be the point complication

Without these pliers handling and setting my new gravel tires from vittoria would have been a serious headache.

I needed this tool before I even knew it existed. It replaces all of the "cave man style" methods for breaking the bead on tubeless tires, with a tool made for the job. Wonderful for MTB/XC tires. I can't speak for using it on road tires.

I bought the Road and MTB versions for the express purpose of un-seating stubborn tires, a function these do not perform. The straight jaws may be part of the problem; maybe a slight curve to better follow rim radius would help. Product material seems okay. The Road version easily goes over my 28 mm road tires. The MTB version is a tight fit over my 2.4 tires. These would be four stars if they actually broke the bead.

This tool is great! Makes getting a tire off a lot easier, and is totally worth it.
