Air-Liner Road Tubeless Kit

A bit difficult to set up but worth it !
I’ve been using them on my bike for about 5 years now. Road bike and Gravel bike . Happy to say no Uber or Friend Calls in 5 years . Also a Great Peace of Mind on the Fast descents !

A little bit of learning and take your time and it comes together.

Installing the Vittoria Ride Armor tires (700c x 30 and 700c x 32) with the Air-Linert inserts wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. I ran into several issues during installation, getting the inserts, stems, sealant and tires installed properly took some trial, error, and a healthy dose of patience. Honestly, at one point I almost gave up.

Stick with it! Once everything’s installed, the payoff is absolutely worth the effort. The ride quality is smooth and solid, and the added protection against flats gives real peace of mind, especially on longer rides or rougher roads.

Bottom line: these tires can test your patience at first, but once you get them dialed in, they deliver the kind of ride confidence that makes the struggle worthwhile.

I got the inserts because I have bad hand arthritis and changing a tire in the field is difficult under the best of circumstances (even harder with tubeless than with my old skinny tube tires). I haven’t had a flat yet so I have no idea how they perform for riding flat. The inserts were a 4-hand job to get on, then a 4-hand (with strong carpenter’s hands, by the way) job to get the tire on, in part because the inserts prevents the bead from going into the center of the rim to facilitate getting that last bit over the rim edge. It’s nothing like the video. Now that I have the inserts in, I don’t know how I’ll be able to tell if the goo has dried because I can’t do the dipstick trick to check.

The tire really isn’t rideable if you get a flat even with the liners.

Easy to install with the included tool. 100 miles ridden with them! Secure feeling I will get home even with a puncture!

Best Decision I have made. Vittoria's Tubeless Kit and their installation video made the installation easy. My ride is still comfortable and has not slowed my speed nor has it added any drag.

My first road tubeless conversion. Only a couple of rides so far. Tires feel smooth and compliant. Hoping they give the same confidence and use get from Vittoria Gravel tubeless airliners :)
