The surest way to win a race is get the holeshot and maintain a gap to the finish. The surest way to DNF is to cut the holeshot too close and shred a side wall. The reinforced Barzo XC Trail helps achieve the former and alleviate the latter, grinding watts into the trail and incorporating additional protection on the sidewall.

The alternating center knobs roll fast, and moto-style shoulder knobs bite hard while cornering. Siping throughout increases grip under lateral loads, helping to maintain speed across terrain of all types, and spacious knob placement cleans muck and loamy soil.

Technology explained

The Barzo XC Trail blends four Graphene-infused compounds to minimize rolling resistance on the center strip and maximize confident grip on the shoulders. The 120-TPI nylon XC Trail TLR casing is durable and supple, and the abrasion-resistant structure is reinforced with additional sidewall protection.

29x2.6 up front, 29x2.35 rear. Love this set up on my SS, roll fast and grip when you lay it into the corners.

Awesome tires

Lighter and so much faster than my stock trail setup, but still plenty of grip on dry ground. The Barzo front, Mezcal rear is a good combination. Turned a good climbing bike into a better one.

Good Tires

Put Barza on front and rear, after about 50 miles great so far fast rolling.

Great XC front tire

Everything is relative. Coming from running Aspens, this tire has a great mix of traction and speed up front. Also forecasts very well so you can adjust for slippage. With the Aspens you don’t know you’re slipping until your face is in the dirt.

This tire is very supple and so running a bit more pressure than with other tires. It’s also the hardest tire I have ever tried to mount, even with an air compressor and straps it took quite a while.

Color fading

The black where the white lettering is placed is all faded to a hunter green. Seems like it is an old storage or sun damage
