Enduro level performance with XC speed

Agarro Trail solves the riddle for riders wanting XC speed and enduro-ready performance in a single tire.

Stepped center tread blocks provide efficient climbing while maintaining confident descending, clearing terrain with every revolution. Progressive siping throughout the tread enhances trail-feel and responsiveness, giving balanced grip and control without sacrificing stability.

Vittoria’s 4Compound Formulation places four optimized rubber compounds exactly where they’re needed, delivering the ideal combination of speed, grip, and long-lasting durability.

The Trail casing completes the design with a tubeless-ready nylon construction, reinforced sidewalls, and an anti-puncture belt—light for long climbs, tough for technical descents, and versatile enough for any trail.

Extremely fast tire

I’m really impressed with this tire setup: a Mazza Trail on the front and an Agarro Trail on the rear. The Agarro immediately helped me climb a few miles per hour faster than I could with my previous rear tire, and it delivers even more grip than I expected.

Wide Range Of Trails

Replaced a Mezcal with this Agarro. My wife uses an XC full suspension but does some aggressive riding on rocks, roots, and some bike parks. Not extreme but more than rolling dirt trails. She found the Mezcal was great, and fast, on dirt trails and smooth quick climbs. It didn't give her the confidence and grip needed for the more advanced riding or damp roots. This Agarro hits the nail on the head for all her riding conditions. She is happy with he added traction and does not feel like it rolls any slower. This will be the go to tire from here on out.

Worked great on granite

Just rode 5 days at Curt Gowdy WY on granite and kitty litter. Worked great. First time using this brand. Great traction, I think they will hold up well on the rocky trails in Colorado

great tire rolls fast

As advertised this tire does roll extremely well for a trail tire. Solid grip for this category of tire. I would recommend if you want a fast tire thats still a bit of a trail tire. It’s just light enough for my single speed but grippy enough for the moderate difficulty trails.

Better than expected!

To start, the Vittoria website and customer service are both excellent! Product selection and pricing are point!
As for the tires purchased, the Agarro Trail 29x2.40 gum sides…they’re perfect! Excellent quality and manufactured to perfection. Compared to the Schwalbe tires my bike can with, which required three tire levers and brute strength to mount/dismount, these Vittoria don’t even require tools to mount and only one lever to remove. This is a HUGE benefit when riding! Based on quality and serviceability, these tires are 100% the right choice. I’ve been out of the game for while, so I’m not sure how long they’ll last or what they will put up with, but I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

So far so good

I've only ridden these twice, both times on primarily hard packed or slightly damp trails, and they've been great. Fast rolling with great grip on roots and rocks.

Fast rolling all-rounder

Really happy with the Agarro as a rear tire on my trail bike. Paired with the Mazza on the front this is a sweet setup.

Very Grippy, and fast on corners!

For the trails i'm riding, best tire with loose gravel.

Flatted 1st Ride ☹️

Had tires fully pumped, but managed to flat the rear on a rock at about 8 mi - hole in the face and also Right at the bead line. Tire is junk.

Great fast rolling tire with superior traction

This is my go to rear tire for New England trail riding. It's durable, lightweight, and pairs amazingly with the Mazza up front. I highly recommend this tire.

My “Go To” tire. My “Go To” brand.

I have been a fan of Vittoria for several years and the Agarro is one of my favorite tires. It does everything well. The predictability is fantastic and they roll amazingly well. I have them on my 29ers and 27.5ers. Whenever I get a new bike, as soon as those tires wear out, I switch them to Vittoria. I just love the brand.

The tires I've been searching for!

I've been searching high and low for tires for my Trek Top Fuel (130 front, 126 rear with a long-stroke shock). This is my daily-driver bike for riding and coaching, which means it needs to be extremely versatile. It has to handle everything from mild to wild, dry to muddy, and handle the speed of riding with professional athletes. I was previously running Maxxis Rekon's front and back. The did everything OK, but nothing great. They also always felt slow-rolling.

These tires fixed everything I didn't like about the Rekons. They corner incredibly well. They have traction for days. They shed mud like it was never even there. Plus, they roll way faster than they look like they should.

I paired these with a set of Airliner Light inserts. With 2.4 Rekons, I'd been running 21/23 psi front and rear, and I was still bottoming the rear tire on the rim occasionally. With the 2.4 Aguarros and Airliners, I'm running 16 front, 18 rear and never feel like I'm at risk of bottoming. It's amazing how much more naturally you can flow through the trails when you stop feeling like you have to protect the tire and rim.

it’s a fabulous rear tire

The 2.6 (measures smaller closer to 2.5) has more way more bite than it looks like it should. for the dry conditions of the front range of Colorado it is an awesome choice as a rear (aggressive trail). Fast, delight to pedal, but when you go beast mode it handles its business and provides considerable grip while being able to break loose in a deliberately induced controlled way.

trail tire

I have been impressed with the AGARRO so far. I've used it mainly in dry, loose, rocky, and rooty areas. Grip has been predictable with no surprises. Great rolling speed. I will definitely buy again.

Awesome MTB trail tire

The Agarro is one great trail tire. Excellent grip for the trails with rolling speed of an xc racer. Pair them up with the Martello up front for a sweet setup.
