Addressing the trend toward wider, high-performance tires and rims, Vittoria has arrived with a new WIDE RIM size, taking rim-tire aerodynamics to the next level with 700x29c WIDE RIM. After extensive development with World Tour teams and top-tier wheel manufacturers, including work with Wout Van Aert and Team Visma | Lease a Bike, the Vittoria Corsa PRO WIDE RIM tires are available at retail beginning today. These new Corsa PROs can be found in stores and online, along with the Corsa N.EXT WIDE RIM. In the coming months, the Corsa PRO Speed WIDE RIM will also be available.
As a leader of performance innovation within cycling, Vittoria is excited to announce the launch of this new size for road tubeless tires: 700x29c WIDE RIM (which corresponds to the 29-622 size in the ETRTO standard). This new addition is set to revolutionize the riding experience for the most demanding cyclists. Specifically designed for rims with a wide internal section of 25mm, it maximizes aerodynamics while maintaining the excellent grip and smoothness characteristic of the Corsa range. When Vittoria 700x29c WIDE RIM tires are mounted on wide rims, the two elements form a perfect and cohesive profile which minimizes micro-turbulence.

The Vittoria Corsa range is now enriched with a new size; the features and design of these tires remain unchanged: both the casing and the compound remain the same as in other sizes.
- The 320 TPI cotton casing of Corsa PRO and Corsa PRO Speed is the best available on the market, offering elasticity, lightness, and the comfort professional cyclists demand.
- The casing of the Corsa N.EXT is made of 100 TPI nylon.
- The Graphene + Silica compound (present in all tires in the Corsa range) is Vittoria’s most advanced technology, enhancing tire speed and durability.
Notes:
- For "wide" rims, with an internal section of 25mm, 700x29c is the minimum compatible size.
- Corsa WIDE RIM tires can also be safely used on rims with "normal" internal widths, i.e., less than 25mm. What will change is the width of the tire section, which will be smaller in that case.
