New tread design for ultimate speed and control
Mostro boasts a groundbreaking tread design engineered to deliver unparalleled speed and control on the trails. Featuring a new V-formation tread pattern with alternating mid and center lugs adorned with pronounced trailing edges, Mostro ensures unwavering stability across rocks, roots, and loose surfaces. The innovative tread profile, equipped with vertical plane progressive siping and surface-stepped technology, enhances traction and cornering prowess while facilitating rapid acceleration. Mostro’s pronounced trailing edges provide an anchor-like grip when breaking, without slowing the tire down in rolling performance.
Two casing & compound options to match any rider’s needs
Embracing the diverse needs of riders, Mostro is available in two distinct variants: Mostro Enduro Race and Mostro Enduro.
- Mostro Enduro Race: Engineered with the new Race Formulation technology, this variant features a single, soft rubber compound powered by Graphene + Silica to offer speed and grip without compromise. It is applied on a robust reinforced multi-layer casing, offering race-tuned durability and abrasion resistance. Additional puncture protection is provided by a bead-to-bead Reinforcement Layer placed in the lower part of the casing, and an anti-puncture belt in the upper part of the casing. Finally, the Sidewall Stability Insert feature protects the tire from rim strikes and provides additional sidewall support thanks to its high-tech rubber material.
- Mostro Enduro: Employing the advanced 4Compound technology featuring 4 optimized rubber compounds powered by Graphene strategically positioned to deliver an unmatched blend of speed, grip, and durability. The tread is applied on a 2-ply 120 TPI nylon casing resistant to abrasion and punctures. It also features the same Sidewall Stability Insert feature of the Enduro Race version, which protects the tire from rim strikes and gives additional sidewall support thanks to its high-tech rubber material.
Both versions offer unparalleled gravity riding performance when paired with the Vittoria Air-Liner Protect insert inserts.
Both Mostro Enduro Race and Mostro Enduro versions use the World Championships-proven Tubeless-ready technology with foldable aramid bead for easy inflation and dependable air retention. Mostro Enduro Race and Mostro Enduro are compatible with hookless rims in all sizes.
