How to Install Your Vittoria Peyote XC Race Tire with Air-Liner Light XC
Follow our step-by-step video guide to set up your Vittoria Peyote XC Race tyre with the Air-Liner Light XC insert. Learn how to prepare the wheel, fit the tyre and insert, apply tubeless sealant and complete the final installation checks.
Before you start - Important safety information
Check compatibility between the tire, insert, rim and tubeless components. Follow the installation and pressure instructions supplied with the relevant Vittoria products. Do not publish unverified sealant quantities or inflation pressures.

What You'll Need
Tick off your products and tools as you prepare them.
☐ 1 × Vittoria Peyote XC Race tyre
☐ 1 × Vittoria Air-Liner Light XC insert
☐ 1 × compatible MTB wheel and rim
☐ Tubeless valve
☐ Vittoria Universal Tubeless Sealant
☐ Suitable inflation equipment
☐ Tyre levers / installation tools
Check that the rim tape is correctly installed and in good condition before assembling the tubeless setup.
Fit the tubeless valve to the rim, checking that it is correctly positioned.
Start mounting the tire onto the rim, following the sequence shown in the video.
Handle and position the Air-Liner Light XC insert as demonstrated in the tutorial.
Work carefully around the wheel to position the insert without twisting it.
Finish fitting the tire bead, checking that the insert and tire are correctly positioned.
Follow the sealant application method shown in the video. The correct quantity must be confirmed for the chosen tire size.
Inflate the tire using the method shown, ensuring that the beads seat correctly on the rim.
Rotate and move the wheel to help distribute the sealant throughout the tire.
Check tire seating, valve sealing and pressure before riding. Follow approved tire and rim guidance.
