Rubino Tube-Type

I started using the Rubino Pro over three years ago and only wish I had done so many years before. It rows well, has excellent grip, is durable, puncture resistant. It is much easier to mount than the previous tire I had used for nearly 20 years. That is not to say, however, that mounting the Rubino Pro is a piece of cake. Indeed, on occasion I must bite the bullet and use a tire lever to get the last few inches of a new tire over the edge of the rim. All in all, the Rubino Pro is a excellent tire and a terrific value for the price.

My bike has a custom paint job and I selected these tubes because they match perfectly.

I have always enjoyed the performance of Vittoria tires and would normally give 5 star. However the ones I just put on the bike were very difficult to mount. Normally I can do it by hand but I actually had to use a motorcycle mounting tool to get it to stretch enough to install. Hopefully it will stretch because if I get a flat and it was still as difficult to install I will be calling for a ride home.

These are easy-to-install, light, grippy, and tough; I use them for commuting.

I got a different Rubio Pro at the same size of 700x30 and find that they are narrower by at least 2 mm and the operate at a higher pressure. If I had known I would have went wider, but I needed them for a metric century ride and could not wait.

Rubino are my go-to tires for my daily training and endurance rides. Supple enough to be enjoyable, sturdy enough to endure the abuse of urban streets with all their debris and space junk. They never fail to last me a full season intact.

Love my new tires. They’re the perfect mix of grip and speed, and the tan walls look sweet!

These are exceptional road tires - very fast & smooth with good cornering control! I got them to replace my Vittoria Rubino Pro tires (also great tires!) after 4,000+ miles. And Robert H in Vittoria Customer Service was tremendous!

I have always been happy with Vittorria tires (Rubino & Zaffirro). Now running RubinoPro 30's with TPU tubes.

These tires do not fit Fulcrum Racing Quattro Carbon wheels. I bent two tire levers before I took the wheels to a bike shop and they couldn’t even make them work.
One tire went on the back wheel but the tube was so bunched up that it was like riding a lopsided tire down the road and I had to take it off and put the old 25s back on.
Super frustrating. I really like Vittoria tires but not if they don’t even fit on the wheels.

I like the quality of the tires, but they are really tough to get on my 700 rim. I worry about the day I'm on a ride and get a flat - taking those tires off to patch the tube is going to be a nightmare.

These tires really shine. They are silky smooth, fast and light. Unfortunately, goat heads kill them. I had to switch to Randonneur. Not as much fun, but they get me there.
