Mezcal XC Sport TLR

Did my first ride with these tires installed. Rolled smooth and fast while maintaining excellent traction. 5 star would recommend.

I love these tires, great traction for Fl. trails and very quick.

Got the Mezcal/Barzo bundle for my Salsa El Mariachi, and I think this is the best XC combination I've ever used. Durable, grippy, and lightweight. Actually, dumped my heavy tubeless Schwalbe setup, and went back to lightweight tubes. Super happy with the purchase!

I love these tires

Great tire, difficult to mount and remove

Noticeable difference in traction

Very light, fast rolling and grippy. Can't ask for more than that. It measures out to about a 2.25 instead of 2.35 though on a 30mm internal wheel.

Solid digger for dry, rocky conditions. Climbs like a goat

Installed this with their airliner and love my ride now! Not sure if it’s the tire or the airliner combo, but it dampens the chatter in my front tire which allows for better handling on the front end.

Bought this as a rear tire for my 11 y/o son who is on the middle school MTB team, in addition to the Barzo on the front.

So far so good on the socal loose over hard pack. Only a couple of rides in, but when I ride behind him he has excellent grip on the climbs as far as I can tell. Much lighter than his Forekasters.

These are fast and have excellent traction. I find the XC version of this tire to be a lot more predictable and better handling than the XC Trail version. If you don’t have the risk of sharp rocks in your region the difference in handling is night and day.

Great tire good puncture protection and low rolling resistance

I have been using the Mezcal tires since they have been available , for years. Great cornering traction and incredible roll speed. Most of my riding is in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Colorado. I think they are some of the best tires for these areas.

Plenty of grip for most of the XC trails I ride in Florida. Lots of sandy flat corners, roots, and leaves / debris all over.

I don't think I can go back to Maxxis... :)

Love these tires on the hard pack terrain I ride on. Hold up well last set I got around 1500 miles on.

My first ride on this tire hooked me - fantastic on climbs, gripped on dry/loose conditions- not one complaint - easy to mount too - highly recommend to check it out

Tire will not mount on rim. Two different rims were tried, and the tire is impossible to mount.

Great tires after a half dozen rides or so. Would highly recommend if speed is what you’re after.

These were a little difficult to mount but worth the effort. Lightweight, and first impressions are that these are fast rolling, and have excellent grip in dry conditions. Noticeable improvement moving to an XC tire from the stock trail tires. Time will tell, but so far, so good. Satisfied with my purchase!

Bought to use in the rear of my hardtail in a multi surface bikepacking trip…these tires rolled fast on asphalt and gripped very well on gravel roads and dirt single track.

Great cornering, fast, and wide enough to soak up the bumps—new favorite tire!

I'm a few XC tires in and these by far are the best of the bunch. I have it on my Trek Caliber Gen 1 on Reynolds CF hoops. The tires seated on the bead very easily with Orange Seal.

Arrived in perfect shape!

The tire was out of round, and we had to buy a new one before the Unbound Gravel race.

These tires grip really well for their light weight and stature.
